Le lézard du parc (“Lizard of the park”), a small tourist train on wheels, allows you to discover the Park de la Tete d’Or and its 117ha area in an unique and convivial way.
Each tour lasts for 20 minutes and includes a commentary of the zoological garden, the botanical garden and the greenhouses. A tour of the lake and a visit to the rose garden (with its 50,000 rose bushes) is also on the program. Specially commentated visits lasting for 30, 45, or 60 minutes are advised for groups of 25 people or more.
Visits start either from the main door of the “enfants du Rhône”, or from the botanical garden (in front of the monkey’s rotunda.
